About

Nicola has a clinical background as a Pharmacist with more than 30 years of experience in a variety of sectors. Having started in hospital pharmacy, continued throughout to locum in community pharmacy, ran her own business and led on pre-registration at the General Pharmaceutical Council and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, she brings these real world experiences into her teaching. These roles included oversight of the pre-registration training year and the registration assessment. Other roles also include lecturing in Pharmacy in both Great Britain and New Zealand. Nicola has also been a Lay Member (Non-Executive Director) for Patient and Public  Involvement, placing patients and public at the heart of all healthcare decisions. Nicola specialises in developing pharmacy staff with a focus on educational supervisors. As a trained coach Nicola is keen to share her experience and coach others to reach their potential.
