During Clearing, applications for our courses are managed by the University of Greenwich. Don't worry if you land on their website or speak to one of their advisors - you're in the right place!

Clearing at Medway School of Pharmacy

Clearing is your opportunity to secure a place on a university course starting this September. From 5 July, you’ll be able to search and apply for courses that still have available spaces.

If you haven’t received an offer by the 30 June UCAS deadline, or you’re considering a change of direction, you can still apply to study at Medway School of Pharmacy through Clearing.

Get the inside track

If you sign up for the Priority Clearing Service before 16 August, you’ll be first in the queue to speak to one of the advisors. Based on what you tell them, they will assess whether or not we can offer you a place.

Clearing FAQs

When does Clearing start?

If you’ve already received your results, you can start UCAS Clearing on 5 July. The majority of Clearing activity begins on A level Results Day on 16 August.

Can I apply through Clearing?

You can apply through Clearing if you have applied in the current application year and one of the following applies to you:

  • your offers have not been confirmed as you haven’t met the conditions
  • you have declined an alternative offer
  • you made an application before 30 June and didn’t receive any offers
  • you made an application before 30 June and declined all your offers
  • you made an application after 30 June. This application will go straight into Clearing as UCAS won’t have had time to process your application.

Can I release myself into Clearing?

Yes. If you’re confirmed at a university (UF) but have changed your mind about where you want to study, you can decline your place in UCAS Hub. You should only self-release if you’re sure you want to enter Clearing, as you won’t be able to go back if you change your mind!

Can I defer my place in Clearing?

No. If you apply through Clearing you will need to start your studies this academic year (September 2025).

Am I still eligible for student funding?

You’re still eligible to apply for student finance if you use Clearing, but you’ll need to apply ASAP. If you’ve already applied for funding for a different course, you’ll need to update your details with Student Finance England as soon as your place is confirmed.
