About

Yvette graduated from Aston University in 1994 and completed her pre-registration year in hospital in the West Midlands. She undertook her Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy with Keele University while working in hospital and then moved to Kent in 1997. She continued to work in hospital pharmacy and completed a Masters degree in Clinical Pharmacy with Brighton University in 2000, focusing on COPD patients. Yvette’s career in hospital pharmacy involved several different roles, including clinical positions in anticoagulation and respiratory medicine before becoming a Clinical Pharmacy Manager and Educational Programme Director, leading the education for pre-registration and newly qualified pharmacists in the hospital until 2017.

In September 2017, Yvette joined Medway School of Pharmacy as Programme Lead for the Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice. Since then, she has become involved in teaching undergraduates.
